Preparation

  1. Sift 2-4 g of matcha into a bowl to remove any clumps
  2. Heat water to 80°C (175°F)
  3. Pour 40 ml of water into the bowl
  4. Whisk in zig-zag motion until a layer of frothy crema forms on top
  5. Add 100 ml of water, milk or alternative, and enjoy
